I'm Rita Macarrala Purner, born and raised in Inhambane, owner and chef-therapist of GAIA Spa & Retreat. My life as a Massage-Therapist started in 2009 in Barnsley/England, where I completed my trainings in Shiatsu Massage. After returning to Moçambique i worked at the then well established Flamingo-Lodge to intensivy my skills before purchasing my first own foldable massage table in 2011 and pioneering with my business as Inhambane's, Tofo's and Barra's first  mobile Massage-Therapist, constantly gaining work experience in the area now since 14 years. In 2019 I was able to expand my repertoire to include traditional Thai Massage,Thai Foot Reflexology, Thai Fire Therapy and Thai Herbal Compress Massage through an extended training-course in Chiang Mai/Thailand.
